Quick Quiz: Breast Cancer

Page 1 of 7: Breast Cancer

Although death rates associated with the disease have been decreasing since 1989, especially in women aged 50 years, approximately 40,610 women in the United States are expected to die from breast cancer in 2017. These declines are believed to be the result of earlier detection through screening, treatment advances, and better patient education. Public awareness of effective strategies for preventing, diagnosing, and treating breast cancer needs to remain a priority to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with the disease.
